Canadair CF-104 Starfighter 427 Sq, 3rd Wing, Zwiebrucken, W. Germany, 1962. The “missile with a man in it” or the “Widowmaker” as it was known was on the front line of Canada’s NATO commitment for over 20 years. This is in 1/48 scale, from Hasagawa 7220, with decals from Belcher Bits. Kit quality is EXCELLENT, well recommend for anyone who wants to build a 104. Engine, bays and cockpit are nicely detailed, excellent panel lines and molded details. Fits together brillantly.
